Batesburg-Leesville Town Council voted unanimously during their regularly scheduled Council Meeting on Monday, May 14th to enter into a contract with CBD Inc. for up to $42,000 in sidewalk repairs.  Staff solicited bids through a Request for Proposal process and received two bids. Of the sidewalks slated for repairs, CBD Inc. was the lowest responsible bidder at $91,202.22, whereas Advantage Outdoor Services, LLC's bid was higher at $150,340.00. Bidders were also asked to price each section in addition to providing a total cost. Upon reviewing the cost per section, CBD Inc. was selected as the lowest responsible bidder. Staff then paired down the total project to align the scope of work with the funding available ($42,000). The final list of sidewalks to be repaired this funding cycle is below.
